Payment Policy

This page explains how you can pay for orders placed at Pupporia. By shopping with us you agree to the terms below.

1. Accepted payment methods

We currently accept two secure ways to pay:

  • Bank cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express, processed through Stripe Payments.

  • PayPal: pay with your PayPal balance or any card saved in your PayPal wallet.

All prices on our website are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and your card or PayPal account will be charged in GBP.

2. Secure checkout

Pupporia never sees or stores your full card details. Card transactions are encrypted end-to-end by Stripe’s Level 1 PCI-DSS compliant system. PayPal payments are protected by PayPal’s own encryption and buyer-protection policies. You will notice the padlock symbol and “https” in your browser address bar on every page of our checkout.

3. When we charge you

Your selected payment method is authorized and charged in full at the time you confirm your order. If our system or our payment partners suspect fraud, the order may be held for manual review. We will contact you by email if we need additional verification.

4. Payment failure

If a card is declined or a PayPal transaction is not approved, the order is automatically cancelled. You are welcome to try a different card or payment method. We do not reserve stock for failed payments.

5. Refunds

Approved refunds are always credited back to the original payment method.

  • Bank cards: Stripe releases the funds immediately and most banks post the credit within 3–5 business days.

  • PayPal: PayPal credits your account as soon as the refund is processed; the time it takes to reach your bank or card depends on PayPal and your card issuer.

6. Currency conversion and fees

If your card or PayPal account is denominated in a currency other than GBP, your provider may apply its own exchange rate and fees. Pupporia is not responsible for any additional charges levied by your bank, card issuer or PayPal.

7. Invoices and VAT

A detailed VAT invoice is emailed automatically once your payment clears. ECOWARES LTD is a UK-registered company; if and when we become VAT-registered the invoice will show VAT separately.
